Panic as herbalist challenged the judges at MTN Project Fame #MTNProjectFameHerbalist

There was panic at the Lagos audition of MTN Project Fame West Africa season 9 as the famous herbalist whos name is Awopeju Olaniyi Philips a.k.a King Phillipiano, stormed the Ultima Studio in his full traditional regalia to slug it out with other music enthusiasts, He was adorned in beads, robes, animal skin and a horsetail to match, the chap claims his costume represents the cultural diversity and the unity of the African continent through music.

As other participant at Ultima Studio hope to rise to fame at the end of the competition, he had already gotten his fame on the spot of MTN Project Fame platform.

However, King Phillipiano believed his costume would prove his seriousness to the judges but unfortunately his costume gave a negative impression as the judges were scared of giving him a "Yes or No" as they gave others, which makes his audition inconclusive.

He became the spotlight as his presence attracted paparazzi on the yellow carpet, and his fame has spread across the nations as all media giants now has his story published on there platforms.

However, the fame King Phillipiano sought seems to have come on the spot while the panel of judges comprising Gloria Rhodes, CobhamsAsuquo, and Shola Allyson are now the one battling with confusion in their mind as they don't know if they should give the famous herbalist "Yes or No" and it's as a result of the evil and bad image the Nigerian Nollywood Industry have labelled herbalist in Nigeria.

We hope to soon hear the herbalist own side of the story has MTN has projected his story in the best way they know.

Prophett, is a unique talent with a rather symbolic stage name based in Toronto, Canada. Born January 19, 1996 as Oruaro Kay Ikede in the city of Warri , Delta State. At a young age, the multi-faceted Rapper/Singer discovered his love for music through listening to the likes of Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Bob Marley and rappers such as Eminem, Kanye West and Dr Dre and this led to him wanting to develop his singing abilities as well as cultivating his rap skills.

Music became a big part of his life as he constantly found himself writing lyrics and free-styling to beats in his spare time and would often entertain his classmates with his singing during lunch breaks in school.

At the age of 16, after graduating Secondary School, he moved to Canada to pursue a University degree in Computer Science.  According to the Rapper, it was never easy to balance both school and music as he discovered both needed a lot of time and focus to excel, which led him to take a long break from music to better focus on his studies.

In 2015, he decided to take his passion for music more seriously as he started to spend more time in the studio as well as reaching out to some Nigerian producers in order to further develop his sound. He displays true versatility by incorporating multiple genres such as RnB, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Rap and Pop into his art.

He makes his debut in 2016, with his single Solomon Grundy, a club banger which is sure to be a hit in the club and party scene. With a catchy hook that will easily get stuck in your head it is no wonder that some have dubbed him, " The King of the Party".
